The V. Kann Rasmussen Foundation typically offers two grant cycles per year, inviting applications through either "By Invitation-Only" or Open Call processes. VKRF uses a thematic approach to support impactful projects within a program area.

Current Open Call:  “Nature-Centrism as a Lens for Organizational Behavior and Decision-Making”

To Apply:

  1. Review: Call for Proposals - Spring 2025 (PDF)

  2. Prepare: Guidelines for Submitting Letters of Inquiry (PDF)

    Please note: In response to applicant inquiries, this file was updated January 3, 2025.

  3. Submit Your LOI to: grants@vkrf.org. The deadline is Monday, February 3, 2025 at 5pm EST.

  4. Apply*: Guidelines for Submitting Full Proposals (PDF). Based on the Board’s review of submitted LOIs, selected applicants will be invited to submit full proposals. The deadline is Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at 5pm EST.

Important Notes:

  • VKRF does not accept unsolicited letters of inquiry outside the Call for Proposal process.

  • Program staff welcomes discussions with actors within the current thematic field or questions from potential applicants.


Report

Grantee reports are an essential aspect of VKRF’s effort to monitor, evaluate and learn from funded projects. Grantees should follow the specific guidelines to submit their Reports, unless otherwise noted by the VKRF staff.
